Just a little Hello

So I have been without the internet since saturday afternoon, something went wrong and I didn't get things right till this afternoon, a young man named Alvin at tech support at Embarq helped me to fix things.
This is the cardworkshop I am doing, it was suppose to have happened this past Saturday, but due to snow things got cancelled.
These cards are using the X5808 Creative Basics Jingle collection, X5753 Tulip cs, Z2166 Tulip ink, X5752 Juniper cs, Z2165 Juniper ink, D1366 Hoilday Trinkets, B1313 Merry Pursits, C1376 Stocking Stlye, C1378 Heartfelt Christmas, Z1151 Foam Tape, 1771 Waterbrush, and Tereas Black's glitter techinque, which is alot of fun and a little messy, and I used my Cricut to cut the snowflakes. I used Antoinnette's template for these. This is 20 cards, and very easy to put together.

I have been seeing alot of the homemade dry erase boards so I decided to give them a try, they came out okay so I decided to make some as gifts for Christmas, I hope the person's I made these for will like them. They are the 8x10 size. I got the frames from Walmart, all my letters were cut using my Cricut and the Alphalicious cart, I used several different paper paks for these.

it works again

I am so happy that everything seems to be working again on here so that I can share pictures and stuff.
Okay, don't forget that Stampaganza at Close to my Heart ends Nov 30, 09 you have till then to Buy 2 get 1 FREE of the My Acrylix stamp sets. Go to my web site www.Rebeccat.myctmh.com and check out all of the stamps sets, also on the site are all the items that will be retiring on December 31,09.
Calvin got me my Christmas present early this year, I GOT A Gyspy from Provo craft, and I have had some fun with this. I found how much fun it is to weld words and letters together, I am still learning.
This first card I did this past weekend, I was over SCS and saw the brick wall card tech. and thought I would give it a try.
I used X5646 Vanilla cream cs, X5642 Cocoa cs, Z2105 Black stamp pad, Z670 B;ack embossing powder, Vanilla cream ribbon, Z2118 Desert sand stamp pad and sponge for the edges of the brick

These were for NP week at the hospital, I used X7117B Grace paper pack, 1381 White daisy cs for the letters, cut the with the Cricut Expression. I used my new Gyspy to weld the letters and words together, I used the lyrica letters cart. Z1218 Basic Brads chocolate.

These were cookie tins that I covered to go with the cards, wanted to use up some of my papers so I chose the X7107B Thats Amore for these, letters were cut using the cricut cart Lyrical letters and X5643chocolate cs. I had a dragonfly punch, and mini pearls that I put on top of the cans.

This next thing is a treat bag that I made for a couple of people at the hospital, we have some really nice people who work the front door and that work in linen services, so I chose them to recieve the gift bags this time, It was using B1333 Merry Monsters and 44751 Black archival ink and my copics, (I only have a few of these).
Beware these are hunting pictures.
This last picture is of my husband Calvin and the deer he has gotton so far this year, he is a hunter and he doesn't hunt for sport but for meat to eat, gettin a nice Buck in, is really nice, he has not had much luck the last couple of yrs but for reason things are going his way this year,
on this scrapbook page are a 3pt, 2 8pts, and 1 9pt, if you click on the picture you can see the page better. Calvin likes my scrapbooking and because of that he has his own hunting and fishing scrapbooks that he likes to show people. I am very pleased that Calvin enjoys his hunting and fishing,

Sorry its been awhile

Sorry, it has been awhile I have been a little busy but I will now try do better about keepin up this blog. This first card is one that I made for Heather & Mike who got married yesterday and it was a wonderful wedding. I got the idea for this card from Cibele over at CTMH mine is a little more plain than hers. I used X7107B Thats Amore papers, X5640 Blush Cardstock, Z209 White Daisy Ribbon, and Flower Soft, Wishes 9033 pg 66 Three Tiers

So I have seen alot of the covered cookie trays that are being used to make little memo centers so I decided to try one, next one will come out better, but this one is not to bad, I used X7094B Paper Garden, Z817 Autumn Daisy paper flowers, and buttons from the winter collection Z1284 and my Cricut to cut the letters, they are from Lyical letters

next one has nothing to do with cards just a picture I took of a bunch of wild turkeys that were hangin out back for a little while.

these next cards I made using the Everyday card kit, these were for Boss's Day.

This last card is for Heathers Bridal shower, I decided to do the tier fold and used the X7114B Bella papers, since all the cards I had done for her brides maids were using this paper just wanted to use up the last of it, and one of the good things about the tier cards is that you can use scraps and they come out wonderful.
Thanks for stopping by and remeber comments are always welcome.

Hello

These are just a few cards I have done recently, the first one is a shaker box card, I used a small fiskars leaf punch and some choc glitter to fill the shaker box. I used the Autumn Splendor stamp set, Autumn terracotta cs 1270, Chocolate cs X5643, choc ink Z2111 and choc ribbon. 3-D foam Z1151 to make the shaker box with.

This one I used my Cuttlebug on Autumn Terracotta cs, I used Brown Staz on ink Z1142 for stamping the leaves and sentiment, I used reinkers, rubbing alcohol, and glossy paper to make the background paper. Choc waxy flax.

These next 3 cards were using the bases from the Everyday card kit and Bella papers X7114B , I made them for Heather to give to her bridesmaids and her Maid of Honor. I used the oval ribbon slide from the mini-medley collection Z1037. for the Maid of Honor card I wanted her oval slide to be pansy purple but I didn't have one so I used Versamark pad Z891 and Purple pansy embossing powder Z664 to get the color I needed. I also didn't have any pansy paurple ribbon so I used CS and a white gel pen to create a ribbon. Thank you is from D1247 From me to You, border is from D1327 Just Because stamp. I took one of the bases from the Everyday card kit and made a template out of it so I would have this to use later.

This card is using the same base but a different paper pack. I used the Celebration and Notice the Details D1378 stamp sets and papers are Stardust. I made this birthday card for a gentleman who turned 100.

This last card is made using my Cricut, paper flowers and chocolate brads Z1218. Choc cs X5643,
Bush cs X5640, choc ink Z2111, I sanded the top layer of blush.

I hope you enjoy the new cards and please feel free to leave a comment.
Thanks for stopping by.

Busy Weekend

This was a busy weekend for me, I went to Amelia on Saturday and met up with Dawn and we hit a couple of stores and had lunch it was a really nice day for me. I found some new Flower soft in Rustic Red and Christmas Green and decided to use them with the new D1374 Ms Holiday stamp set from the new Fall Idea book. the tree is done with flower soft and I used liquid applique on the decorations o the tree, I also used Z308 liquid applique on the hat, I stamped her again in Z2116 cranberry and than paper pieced her dress. I used the X7085B Everlasting paper pk. The second Ms. Holiday card I did, I used the rustic red flower soft on her dress just to see how it would turn out, I needed to have used more flower soft, but shes not to bad.

Been tryin to make a few more manly cards so I made this fron X7110B Back country and the stamp set is D1213 Hunting, I used coloring pencils and gamsol to color him in.

On Sunday I went to see EJ at her house and to play, well she decided we were going to play with Ranger alcohol inks and aluminum foil, plus the cuttlebug well this turned out to be alot of fun, SP and I made a couple of these, and then I bought mine home to turn them into cards becuse I ran out of time at EJ's. While I was there I stamped a few images to bring home to color and use later.
Today, I went to Michaels and picked up some of the ranger alcohol inks, but this is what I did before I left the house.
This first card I have from Ej's is the Alcohol ink and foil. I used choc ribbon, D1181 Autumn Splendor and Z1304 Autumn just blooms. EJ I hope you like how it turned out.

The next card is using X7110B Back country papers and one of the stamps from Ej, I don't know the name of it, I just thought it was cute and would go well with our CTMH back country papers

This next is using 9032 Originals page 70 Peek-A-Boo card, the stamp set is D1067 Racoon and Friends and X7110B back country papers, I used 3505 coloring pencils and gamsol to color the bears I then cut them apart.

This last one, I don't know why it is a little blurring but it looks better in person. I used the ranger alcohol inks and glossy cardstock to make the background for the fish and then I stamped him with Z888 Staz on black, the fish is from C1277 Catch of the Day, design is from page 21 of 9032 Originals Book, paper is X7110B back country.

I have had a really good time this weekend and ladies, Thanks. It was nice to get out of the house and visit.
Thanks for stopping by. comments are always welcome.
